Multiplex assays combining
the PSAQ™ method with mass spectrometry analysis provide unique opportunities to enhance quantification
performances, regardless of biomarker abundance levels or sample preparation.
Advantage• Multiplex quantification: up to 50 biomarkers in a single sample
• Sensitive quantification of biomarkers at ng/ml concentrations in plasma/serum
matrices
• Discrimination of protein isoforms
• Substantial reduction of cost
Our services
• Engineering and manufacturing of stable-isotope-labeled therapeutic proteins to be used as PSAQ quantification standards or to be administered in vivo
• Development of quantitative mass spectrometry assays (SRM analysis) and sample analysis
Biomarker discovery platforms generate thousands of biomarker candidates. The use of immunoassays to evaluate the clinical value of these candidates is only possible for small subsets of proteins. Due to their multiplexing capabilities, mass spectrometry-based technologies have emerged as relevant alternatives to immunoassays for biomarker candidates evaluation. Promise Advanced Proteomics offers services coupling PSAQ™ to mass spectrometry analysis, operating in the SRM (Selected Reaction Monitoring) mode, for the multiplex evaluation of your biomarker candidates. Up to 50 biomarkers can be quantified simultaneously in a biofluid sample. The use of PSAQ™ standards is especially suited to the accurate quantification of low-abundance blood biomarkers which are generally extensively enriched before SRM analysis.
